This page will explain how your personal information is used and for what purpose, and procedures taken by PERSOL Global Workforce for the purpose of responding to your requests concerning your personal information.

1. Personal Information Purpose of Use
The personal information received by PERSOL Global Workforce is used for the following purposes. If the purpose of use is separately specified to an individual at the time when the individual’s personal information is collected, the information shall be used for such specified purpose.

Information on individual clients who use each service

1. Information on users (job applicants) (the “User “) of PERSOL Global Workforce’s Employment Agency Service and the related services (collectively, the “Services”) (the “User’s Personal Information”)
(1) Registration of the Services
(2) Providing the Services

The User must confirm and agree to the following each item relating to the User’s Personal Information before using the Services.

PERSOL Global Workforce will acquire information on the right box for the purpose on the right box when PERSOL Global Workforce decides to be necessary to provide the Services to the User. (1) Religion:
To request the recruiting company to take care of food, clothing, worship, etc.
(2) Presence of tattoos:
To select suitable job offers for the User. However, PERSOL Global Workforce will not select job offers against the User’s will.
(3) Criminal record:
To confirm there are no possibilities of revocation of visa status.
PERSOL Global Workforce will acquire information on the right box when the User provides it to PERSOL Global Workforce on its own will. In this case, the User who has provided such information to us shall be deemed to have given consent to PERSOL Global Workforce to acquire this information. (1) Height
(2) Weight
(3) Blood type
(4) Any other information on physical characteristics
PERSOL Global Workforce shall not obtain any User’s sensitive information which contains any information on the right box except for information as Item 1 and 2 set forth above(“Sensitive Information”). However, when the User provides Sensitive Information to us on its own will, PERSOL Global Workforce shall be deemed that the User has consented to PERSOL Global Workforce acquiring such Sensitive Information and providing such Sensitive Information to the recruiting companies and the Partner Agents (defined below) to the extent necessary for PERSOL Global Workforce to provide appropriate Employment Agency Service and job information to the User. (1) Information relating to personal ideology, beliefs, or religion;
(2) Information relating to race, ethnicity, family origin, legal domicile (except for information on the prefecture where the User located), physical or mental disability, criminal history, and other matters that may cause social discrimination;
(3) Information relating to workers’ rights of association, collective bargaining, and other collective actions;
(4) Information relating to participation in mass demonstrations, exercise of the right to petition, and other matters concerning the exercise of political rights; and
(5) Information relating to health, medical care, or sexual life.

※PERSOL Global Workforce may provide the User’s Personal Information to third parties for the purpose set forth above. For details, see “2-1. Provision to third parties for the Services.”

Information on client

(1) Providing the Services (including guidance of the Services and listening to client requests)

2. Provision/Joint use of Personal Information to/between third parties
2-1. Provision to third parties for the Services
PERSOL Global Workforce may provide the User’s Personal Information to third parties for the purpose of provision of the Services.
PERSOL Global Workforce will provide the User’s Personal Information to third parties on behalf of the User according to the instructions of the User in the following services among the Services.

However, these information will only be provided when the User specifically requests.

(1)To request to the recruiting company for consideration of meals, clothing, worship, etc. at the place of employment.
(2) To select job offers that are suitable for the User. However, PERSOL Global Workforce will not select job offers against the User’s will.
(3) To confirm there are no possibilities of expiration of status of residence.

2-2. Joint use of the Business Customer’s Personal Information
Information on client executives is jointly used at PERSOL Group as mentioned hereinafter to provide comprehensive services that make use of the expertise of each of its Group companies.
Personal information items for joint use:
Name, name of affiliated organization, department name, location, position title, e-mail address, telephone number, FAX number, transaction history.
Scope of joint use:
Of PERSOL Group companies (the most recent list of Group companies is here), companies that have already issued notifications and made official announcements in accordance with Item 3, Paragraph 5, Article 23 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

Use purpose of those sharing use of personal information:
To provide guidance and proposals on services offered by PERSOL Group
Protection Officer of personal information for shared use:
PERSOL HOLDINGS CO., LTD.

Acquisition method:
Information acquired through business card exchange, collection of information widely and generally disseminated, negotiation, application for deals, etc. shall be shared by PERSOL Group companies by way of a common system.
*Other than 2-1and 2-2, personal information may be provided to third parties with the consent of the individual in question
2-3. Provision to third parties such as in accordance with laws and ordinances
Personal information may be provided to third parties in cases which apply to each item of Paragraph 1, Article 23 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (such as cases subject to laws and ordinances).

3. Receipt of Requests Relating to Personal Information
3-1. Requests relating to your own personal information
Of personal information set forth in “1. Personal Information Purpose of Use,” except for information that applies to “3. Information obtained when the company is commissioned to undertake work duties,” PERSOL Global Workforce accept the following compliance requests from the said person (Requester) or the requester’s proxy.

* PERSOL Global Workforce shall verify your identity with the information you have provided. PERSOL Global Workforce will be unable to comply with a request if you have not notified your e-mail address in advance or if your e-mail address differs from your previously provided e-mail.
・If you request for notification of purpose of use or disclosure, you may choose either oral, e-mail, or written notification or disclosure.
・If a request is made to suspend the use of or deletion of personal information, you may continue to receive information from us for a certain period after the request is accepted and complied with.
・PERSOL Global Workforce cannot comply with a request in the following cases. Your understanding is appreciated.
– If the information subject to a request does not apply to retained personal data (*) by us.
– If the request may conflict with laws and ordinances.
– If the request may harm the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the said person or third parties.
– If the request may significantly obstruct the appropriate implementation of us.
*Retained personal data refers to personal data for which the person handling the personal information has the authority to comply with all of the aforementioned requests made by the said person, and personal data other than that set forth by government ordinance as being harmful to public good or interests due to the disclosure of its existence, or personal data that will be deleted within the next six months.
