03 Services as Registered Support Organization

Companies that hire foreign nationals under the Specified Skilled Worker (Type 1) residence status are required to provide various forms of support for their employees.As a Registered Support Organization accredited by the Ministry of Justice, we offer these mandatory services on behalf of client companies.In addition, we can provide optional services to support the retention of foreign talent upon request.

How long does the hiring process take?
In the case of Specified Skilled Worker, it takes approximately 1 month from the interview with foreign talent to job offer acceptance, and 6-7 months from job offer acceptance to joining the company.For the Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services, it takes approximately 2-4 months from job offer acceptance to joining the company.
*The period may be shortened depending on whether the person resides in Japan or overseas. If you are currently facing labor shortages or need to secure personnel due to future business expansion or management policies, please consult with us as early as possible.
How much does hiring cost?
Costs may include placement fees, status of residence procedures, airfare, and housing arrangements.Fees vary depending on each case, such as whether the worker is entering from overseas or already residing in Japan. For details, we will propose the optimal recruitment plan for your company according to your consultation needs and provide an estimate of costs.

What is the foreign workers' Japanese level?
Most Specified Skilled Worker candidates have JLPT N4 or higher, allowing them to handle daily life and work communication.Some professional and student candidates possess higher proficiency.
It is also possible to confirm their Japanese language ability during interviews, so please feel free to contact us.
What does retention support include? Is it possible to handle it in-house?
We provide lifestyle guidance, airport pickup, consultation services, and regular follow-ups.Companies may manage these internally if they meet specific conditions, but first-time employers are generally required to outsource to a registered support organization.
If problems arise after hiring, will you help?
Yes. We operate a dedicated consultation desk for both companies and foreign talent, coordinate with workplaces as needed, and conduct regular follow-ups to resolve issues quickly. Furthermore, through regular interviews and other means, we work to prevent problems before they occur.
What’s the difference between Technical Intern Training and Specified Skilled Worker?
Technical Intern Training focuses on skill transfer and international cooperation, not employment, and will be replaced by the new Employment Training system around 2027.The Specified Skilled Worker system, created in 2019, allows foreign nationals to work as part of Japan’s labor force and requires passing Japanese and skills exams.

What is Specified Skilled Worker (Type 2)?
Type 2 allows long-term employment with no renewal limits and permits family accompaniment, unlike Type 1 (max. 5 years).It supports stable careers for workers and long-term talent development for companies.
