On this page, we explain how and for what purposes your personal information will be handled as well as the procedures by which your requests regarding your personal information will be handled.

1.Purposes of Use of Personal Information
Personal information we receive will be used for the following purposes. If the purpose of use of the personal information is otherwise specified to the personal information provider (hereinafter, the “principal”) at the time of collection, such personal information will be used for the purpose specified at the time of collection.

We may acquire the personal information in the right column if the user voluntarily provides it to us. In such cases, a user who provides us with such information shall be deemed to have given consent to our acquisition of such information. |

We do not collect sensitive information other than that specified in the above two items (hereinafter, “Sensitive Information”). However, if the user voluntarily provides us with Sensitive Information, it shall be deemed that the user has agreed to allow us to collect such Sensitive Information and to provide such Sensitive Information to recruiting companies and Partner Agents to the extent necessary for us to provide appropriate job offers and job information to the user. |

2-2. Joint Use of Information on Corporate Clients’ Officers and Employees
The PERSOL Group will jointly use information on officers and employees of the Corporate Clients in order to provide comprehensive services that make use of the expertise of each Group company, as follows:
Items of personal information to be jointly used:
Name; name of department, address, title, e-mail address, telephone number, and fax number of the individual’s organization; and history of transactions, business meetings, and contacts.
Cookies, device information, IP addresses, attribute information, location information, advertising identifiers, and action history (including e-mail openings, link clicks, and website browsing history)
Scope of parties with whom the information will be jointly used:
Among PERSOL Group companies (for the latest list of Group companies, please see here), companies that have already notified and published information in accordance with Article 27, paragraph 5, item (iii) of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

Method of acquisition
Information acquired through the exchange of business cards, collection of widely publicized information, business meetings, and applications for business transactions, etc., will be shared through the system used jointly by PERSOL Group companies.
Note: In addition to 2-1 and 2-2, information may be provided to third parties with the consent of the principal.
2-3. Provision of Personal Information About Our Job Applicants to Third Parties

We accept the following requests from the principal or their agent regarding personal information listed in “1. Purposes of Use of Personal Information,” except for “3. Information acquired when we are entrusted with outsourcing of business operations.”

Note: We will not be able to accept your request if the e-mail address you provide is different from the one you have provided to us.
・When you request notification or disclosure of the purpose of use, you may choose the method of notification or disclosure from among orally, by e-mail, or in writing.
・Please note that you may receive information from us for a while after we have accepted and responded to your request for suspension of use or deletion.
・We will not be able to accept your requests in the following cases. We kindly ask for your understanding:
– Cases where the information subject to the request is not personal data that we maintain;*
– Cases where it may violate laws or regulations;
– Cases where there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the principal or a third party; and
– Cases where there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper conduct of our business.
*Personal data we maintain refers to personal data for which a personal information handling business operator has the authority to respond to all of the aforementioned requests from the principal, other than what a Cabinet Order provides for as data which is likely to harm the public interest or other interests if its existence or non-existence is made clear.

4. Personal Data Security Control Measures
We hereby publicly announce the measures we have taken for the security control of personal data that we have received, as follows:

(Formulation of Basic Policy)
We formulate a Personal Data Protection Policy to ensure the proper handling of personal data.
(Establishment of Internal Rules for Handling Personal Data)
To prevent leaks, etc., of personal data and otherwise ensure the security of personal data, we establish internal rules for the handling of personal data.
(Organizational Security Control Measures)
(1) Establishment of organizational structure
We set forth the roles of the parties involved in the handling of personal data and establish an organizational structure in accordance with the internal rules.
(2) Operation in accordance with the rules for the handling of personal data
Personal data will be handled in accordance with internal rules established in advance. We create records of the handling of personal data in the forms of system logs, written documents, and other means, and confirm from time to time that the handling of personal data is in compliance with the internal rules.
(3) Establishment of means to confirm the situation with personal data handling
In order to confirm the situation with the handling of personal data, we create and manage a management ledger of personal data entrusted to us and personal data that we acquire.
(4) Establishment of a system to deal with incidents of leaks, etc.
We establish a system and procedures to respond to the occurrence of leaks, etc.
(5) Monitoring of the situation with the handling and review of the security control measures
We regularly conduct self-inspections of the situation with personal data handling, as well as checks by the Information Management Department, Internal Audit Department, external experts and other parties to assess, review, and improve the safety management measures.
(Human Security Control Measures)
Regular training and drills are provided to our employees on matters to be considered in handling personal data. We clarify the confidentiality obligations imposed on our employees through measures such as stating matters related to the confidentiality protection of personal data in our Rules of Employment.
(Physical Security Control Measures)

We establish rules for access control in the areas where personal data is handled.
(2) Prevention of theft of equipment, electronic media, etc.
We take appropriate measures to prevent theft or loss of equipment, electronic media, documents, etc., in which personal data is handled.
(3) Prevention of leaks, etc., when electronic media, etc., are carried
When carrying equipment, electronic media, documents, etc., in which personal data is recorded, we take measures to prevent personal data from being easily discovered, such as by using encryption.
(4) Disposal of equipment, electronic media, etc., on which personal data is recorded
Documents, equipment, electronic media, etc., on which personal data is recorded are disposed of in such a way that the personal data cannot be recovered.
(Technical Security Control Measures)

We conduct access control for the information systems that handle personal data, keeping access to the minimum extent necessary for our business use, and limit the scope of employees who can access the personal information database, etc., and the scope of the personal information database, etc., to be handled by the employees.

When outsourcing all or part of the handling of personal data to a third party, we select an appropriate contractor to ensure that the third party will take appropriate measures to securely control the personal data. We conclude an outsourcing contract with the selected contractor and properly manage and supervise the contractor by means such as conducting regular audits to understand how the contractor is handling the personal data that we have entrusted.
(Understanding External Environment)
When storing personal data in a foreign country, we implement security control measures after understanding the system for the protection of personal information in the country where the personal data is stored.
